I don’t know about you, but I am in much need of this week’s WOW. The last two days have been quite dreary here in Indiana and I will be 100% honest when I tell you I have not practiced what I preach. I have not made myself MOVE: ten push-ups here, 20 squats there and that has been all I have really done since my 3 mile run on Sunday.
When the weather is bad (and I am not able to go to the gym yet) my only workout option is an at-home workout, which I try to get done during nap time. I know I shouldn’t use my munchkins as my excuse, but as a second-time mom, I know that these days go fast, so when this little guy fell asleep in my arms the past two days, I took advantage of it. After all, I am only 3 weeks post partum and I need to be kind to myself and my body so it is okay to take this time.
Today is a new day and I plan on busting this out during nap time. It is only 20 minutes, so then I will still have time to snuggle my little man. The sun is also shining today so I plan to fully take advantage of it and get the munchkins out for a run and of course end at the park to let Claire play.
WOW #10 will be the last workout in our at-home, no equipment needed workout series. I will continue to post circuit workouts (with and without equipment) on my Five Friday Favorites and sporadically as we come up with a good workout.
